We had so much fun with LDS Prom this year. Alesia's Senior Prom, I can't believe this is it, she is graduating this year! We usually have my sister Pam to help with the details like hair and makeup, but this year, Pam had other obligations (Happy Anniversary Pam & Kevin!) so it was just the 3 of us; Alesia the royal subject, MacKenzie the creative consultant, and me, event planner/beautician extraordinaire.
We told Alesia she could not ask anyone to the prom, that she had to be asked. Clever girl, texts her friend Jason and tells him she wants to go to prom but her parents won't let her ask anyone... WOW, what a surprise! Jason texted her back and asked to take her to prom. Boy she learned quick!
We had a nice dinner for Alesia and Jason, & Hailey and Cameron in our back yard. The girls planned the menu and Hailey's mom Donna and I supervised in the kitchen while Alex & MacKenzie served. We hung tulle and icicle lights around the patio and hung lanterns with tea lights in them from the ceiling on the patio. It was so beautiful! We served a 3 course dinner to our 4 royal subjects. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. A big thanks to Donna for all of her help with dinner, you are awesome Donna!
